BBC進行的一份調查，驚訝地發現印尼是世界上最適合創業者的國家。這家廣播公司訪問了24個不同國家總共24,000人，詢問他們本國文化對新企業可以提供什麼支持。在印尼之後，澳洲、美國、印度和加拿大都被列為創業的最佳地點。

People said that overall, the Asian country offers new businesses the most support.

A survey carried out by the BBC surprisingly found that Indonesia is the best country in the world to be an entrepreneur. The broadcaster spoke to 24,000 people in 24 different countries and asked them what support their cultures give to new businesses. After Indonesia, Australia, the US, India, and Canada were listed as the best places to set up a company.

The survey interviewees were asked if new ideas and practices were highly regarded, whether it was tough to start a new business, whether entrepreneurs were highly valued, and whether people could usually put their ideas into practice. Indonesia wasnt the only developing economy to perform well, as China, India, and Nigeria also placed in the top half of the countries.

At the bottom of the scale, Russia, Italy, Colombia, Egypt, and Turkey were the 5 nations where its hardest to be an entrepreneur. Italy was the only so-called developed country to finish with a below-average score. Several other low-scoring nations, especially Russia and Colombia, appear to have done badly because people thought the level of government interference in the economy was too high.
